Brief : To design a kitchen product in the house style of David Mellor Design.
Outcome : Pour is an olive oil and balsamic vinegar dispenser set designed to be the centre piece of the dining room table. Pour can be used to garnish food and each have a capacity of 250ml. Pour dispenses liquid by pressing down on the machined aluminium tops, allowing olive oil or balsamic vinegar to be poured through the moulded spouts located on the body of the product. The dispenser's body is formed using slip casting before being glazed to its final colour.
This project was awarded a ‘Recognition of Design Excellence Award‘ by Corin Mellor at the Sheffield Hallam University design exhibition.
