Outcome : The Fräs' innovative dual handles have been designed to create a cutting angle of 15°; extensive research into the hedge trimmer market showed that cutting at a 15° angle creates trapezoidal cuts encouraging plants to grow and stay healthy. The front handle is angled at 15° for improved ergonomics and has been designed to be removable for right and left handed users. The rear handle's double trigger design and power cable management systems have been implemented to reduce the risk of injury when being used. The outer shell of this product has been designed to be mass produced from injection moulded ABS in two halves; internal ribs have been designed to locate the motor wiring and sub-assemblies within the shell.
